Someone Else's September
Ends on
Someone Else’s September is our new annual special edition issue for H2, where someone else—from the Fellowship of Foofaraw—takes the reins, pairing nicely with H1’s Mindlessly Massive March.

Theme (2026):
Something has gone terribly wrong—Dinosaur Edition
We are looking for stories that feature dinosaurs in some form or fashion (fossils count), where something has gone terribly wrong. If your dinosaurs talk or you have a dinosaur theme park a la Jurassic Park, the odds won’t be in your favor. Otherwise, get funky, get ferocious, scare us, thrill us, make us laugh, or question our entire existence.
We will be publishing 3-4 flash stories (250-2500 words), 1-2 short stories (2500-7500 words), and 1-2 poems in the September issue.
